How do I choose my nail size?
We offer four nail sizes: XS, S, M and L.
To find the best fit, measure the widest part of each of your natural nails and compare your measurements with our Nail Size Guide.
We recommend measuring all 10 nails before placing your order, as nail widths can vary from finger to finger.
Please check your size carefully before ordering, as we do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing or change of mind.
How do I apply my press-on nails?
For the best results, start with clean, dry natural nails. Prepare your nails, choose the correct press-on size for each finger, and follow the application instructions provided with your nail set.

How long do press-on nails last?
Wear time can vary depending on your natural nails, application method, the adhesive used, daily activities and how well the nails are cared for.
With proper application and care, press-on nails can be worn for an extended period, but we do not guarantee a specific wear time.
Can press-on nails damage my natural nails?
Press-on nails can generally be worn safely when applied and removed correctly.
However, improper application or removal, including pulling or peeling the nails off, may cause damage to your natural nails.
Always remove press-on nails gently and follow the recommended removal method.
How do I remove press-on nails?
Soak your nails in warm water for around 10–15 minutes to help loosen the adhesive.
Gently loosen the press-on nails from the sides and remove them without forcing or pulling.
Never peel or rip the nails off, as this may damage your natural nails.
Can I reuse my press-on nails?
Some press-on nails may be reusable if they are removed carefully and remain in good condition.
Reusability can vary depending on the nail style, adhesive used and how the nails are removed and cared for.
What makes DN-DS press-on nails different?
Our press-on nails feature a variety of handmade styles, colours and designs, selected and regularly updated by DN-DS.
We work with professional nail technicians across independent workshops, allowing us to offer a changing selection of styles and designs.
Because our press-on nails are handmade, slight variations in colour, small details and decorative elements may occur between sets. These natural variations are part of the handmade nature of the product and do not affect the overall style or intended design.
We carefully select styles that we believe offer a beautiful and affordable way to enjoy different nail looks at home.
JEWELLERY MATERIALS
What materials are your jewellery made from?
Our jewellery is made from a variety of materials and finishes, depending on the individual piece.
These may include gold-plated copper, stainless steel, silver, freshwater pearls, CZ (Cubic Zirconia), natural stones and crystals, glass beads and faux pearls.
Material and finish details are provided on each individual product page. We recommend checking the product details before purchasing if you have a specific material preference.
What is the difference between gold-plated copper and stainless steel jewellery?
Gold-plated copper jewellery has a copper base with a layer of gold plating on the surface.
Stainless steel jewellery has a stainless steel base. Depending on the colour and style, it may have a natural stainless steel finish or a gold or rose-gold plated finish.
These are different base materials and finishes, so their appearance, care requirements and performance may vary.
What is gold plating on stainless steel?
Some of our stainless steel jewellery features a gold-plated finish.
For these pieces, the stainless steel forms the base material and a layer of gold is applied to the surface to create the gold-coloured finish.
Our rose-gold stainless steel pieces use a rose-gold plated finish.

What materials are used in your earrings?
Our earrings can be made from different materials depending on the individual design.
Some pieces may feature gold-plated copper, stainless steel or silver components. For example, some of our gold-plated copper earrings have silver ear posts.
We may also offer earrings featuring materials such as freshwater pearls, CZ, glass beads or natural stones.

What are freshwater pearls, CZ and natural stones?
Some of our jewellery features decorative or natural materials such as freshwater pearls, CZ (Cubic Zirconia), natural crystals and natural stones.
Freshwater pearls are naturally formed pearls produced by freshwater mussels.
CZ is Cubic Zirconia, a lab-created gemstone material commonly used in jewellery.
Natural stones are naturally occurring stones used in jewellery designs. Our collection currently includes pieces featuring stones such as Tiger’s Eye, with more natural stone styles planned for the future.

Are your jewellery materials nickel-free or hypoallergenic?
For our gold-plated copper, stainless steel and silver earring-post jewellery, the materials are nickel-free.
Some future jewellery pieces may use other base materials, including alloy. Where a piece contains alloy or has different material specifications, the relevant material information will be clearly stated on the individual product page.
If you have a known metal sensitivity or allergy, we recommend checking the material details of the specific product before purchasing or contacting us if you need further information.
Are your jewellery pieces made from solid gold or precious metals?
Our jewellery is not made from solid gold or other precious metals. Depending on the individual piece, our jewellery may feature gold-plated copper, stainless steel, silver components, freshwater pearls, CZ, natural stones, crystals, glass beads or faux pearls.

WATER, TARNISHING & COLOUR
Is your jewellery waterproof?
Yes — selected stainless steel jewellery at DN-DS is waterproof for normal everyday water exposure.
It can handle everyday contact with ordinary water, such as occasional splashes, hand washing and normal daily moisture.
However, waterproof does not mean resistant to every type of liquid or environment. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to sweat, swimming-pool water, seawater and harsh chemicals, as these may affect the jewellery or its finish over time.
Gold-plated copper jewellery and other non-stainless-steel jewellery are not part of our waterproof stainless steel range.
Can I shower or swim while wearing my jewellery?
Our waterproof stainless steel jewellery can handle normal everyday water exposure, but it is not designed to be worn during swimming or activities involving prolonged exposure to water.
We recommend removing your jewellery before swimming, exercising, using a swimming pool or spa, or going into the ocean.
Sweat, chlorine and salt water can affect jewellery finishes over time, especially plated finishes.
Will my jewellery tarnish or change colour?
The answer depends on the material and finish.
Stainless steel is highly resistant to tarnishing and is suitable for everyday wear. Gold-plated and rose-gold plated stainless steel jewellery has a plated finish, which may gradually change with prolonged wear or exposure to sweat, chemicals, friction and other environmental factors.
Gold-plated copper jewellery has different characteristics and care requirements.
With proper care, your jewellery can stay looking beautiful for longer.
Will gold-plated jewellery fade over time?
Gold plating is a surface finish, so it may gradually change over time with regular wear.
How quickly this happens depends on factors such as frequency of wear, friction, sweat, perfume, lotions, water, chlorine, salt water and other chemicals.
Gold-plated stainless steel generally provides a more durable base for everyday jewellery than gold-plated copper, but the gold-plated finish can still be affected by prolonged exposure to sweat, chlorine, salt water and chemicals.
What can affect the colour or finish of my jewellery?
Several things can affect the appearance or finish of jewellery over time, including:

* Wipe your jewellery gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing it if needed.

Different materials and finishes may require different care, so always handle your jewellery according to its material.
How should I care for gold-plated jewellery?
Gold-plated jewellery has a surface gold finish, so gentle care is recommended.
Avoid unnecessary exposure to perfume, lotions, chemicals, chlorine, salt water and prolonged moisture. Try to minimise rubbing or friction against other jewellery and surfaces.
When not wearing your jewellery, keep it clean and dry and store it separately to help protect the plated finish.
How should I care for pearls and natural stones?
Freshwater pearls and natural stones should be handled gently.
Avoid exposing them to perfume, lotions, harsh chemicals and prolonged moisture. After wearing, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth if needed.
Store them separately from harder jewellery pieces to help reduce scratching or damage.
How should I store my jewellery?
Store your jewellery in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
Where possible, keep individual pieces separate to reduce tangling, scratching and friction.
For gold-plated jewellery, separate storage is especially helpful for protecting the plated finish and keeping each piece looking its best.
